All-Fixed is a family owned business that has been in the Northern Virginia area since
1988. The company can repair all makes and models of microwaves, freezers, ice machines,
refrigerators, trash compactors, ranges, ovens, dryers, washers, dishwashers and garbage
disposals. The company restricts service to the Northern Virginia area, with the exception
of providing service for Scottsman Ice Machines.
There are currently four technicians with the company, all of whom have been with the company for some time. They are known well so the security concern is low. The technicians do not drive marked vehicles; they like to use the vehicles for personal use and home association rules prevent parking company marked vehicles. The technicians do wear brown or blue uniforms for increased security. The owner is William Miklavic. He has been in the appliance repair business for over 20 years, and has had extensive training by appliance manufacturers. Interestingly, the company has a reputation for fairness as a result of an episode of the ABC program Prime Time Live. The episode revealed that some appliance repair technicians are less than perfectly honest, yet the All-Fixed technician was honest in analyzing broken appliances on the program.
